Cave of the Mounds

A tour of Cave of the Mounds lasts about an hour, including an eight-minute introductory film. The cave temperature is a constant 50 degrees year round. The tour takes you through the main cave, a smaller cave underneath, and then back past a collapse into the back cave. The back cave can also be accessed by a man-made tunnel running alongside and bypassing the narrow, short path that leads back.
